I can’t get a good look at the output that you are receiving in this photograph. Would you be able to post a screenshot of the full output from running the make command as well as the command that was giving you issues when we spoke on the phone?
As a first place to start, reboot your RPi to ensure that there are no hung processes that might be interfering in the compilation. Then navigate back to the linux_sbc folder and run
make clean && make
