Assigning ID's to 2 MX-106 Dynamixel motors

Have you previously set up these MX-106 actuators using DYNAMIXEL Wizard? If this is the first time that you are connecting the actuators, you need to connect them one at a time in order to change their DYNAMIXEL ID.

  1. Allow me to support Jonathon’s advice. The ID of DYNAMIXEL should be unique in your data bus. See the ROBOTIS providing tip video for your reference.

    And suggest one of useful tips using DYNAMIXEL Wizard 2.0.

  2. Computer is your master device that should be connected with comm interface such as U2D2 (TTL / RS485 converter from your computer usb signal). I hope you can clarify your connection setup with DYNAMIXEL and your PC.

Hi! You should set your Dynamixel’s ID at first! default IDs for DXL is 1.
